Adjust Object Timing

Adjust Object Timing on the Timeline

1. Click and drag the edges of an object on the timeline to adjust its duration.
   
2. Click and drag an object on the timeline to adjust when it appears.
   

Display the Timing Properties Panel

1. Click Window on the menu bar.
2. Select Timing Properties.
   

The Timing Properties panel appears next to the regular Properties panel on the right side of the screen. You have some more choices here to control when, and for how long, something appears on the slide.

Display an Object for the Rest of the Slide

1. Select an object.
2. Click the Display For menu arrow in the Timing Properties panel.
3. Select Rest of Slide.
   

Display an Object for the Rest of the Project

1. Select an object.
2. Click the Display For menu arrow in the Timing Properties panel.
3. Select Rest of Project.
   

Display an Object for a Specific Time

1. Select an object.
2. Click in the Time field.
3. Enter a duration.
   
4. Click in the Appear After field.
5. Enter a time.
