Clone and Delete a Dashboard

Clone a Dashboard

It can often be faster to create a dashboard by cloning an existing one and then modifying it.

  1. Open the dashboard you want to clone.

  2. Click Clone.

    Salesforce creates a copy of the dashboard.

  3. Click Save.
  4. Enter a descriptive name for the new dashboard.
  5. Click Save or Save & Run.

Salesforce displays the new dashboard.

Delete a Dashboard

Occasionally you’ll find that you no longer need a Dashboard; you can delete it.

  1. Click the Reports tab.
  2. Click the arrow button next to the dashboard you want to delete.
  3. Select Delete.
  4. Click OK to confirm the deletion.

Salesforce deletes the dashboard.
