You can schedule a dashboard so that Salesforce automatically emails you and other people a copy of it periodically. Dashboards and reports that are scheduled have a checkbox in the Scheduled dashboard column.
Schedule a Dashboard
- Open the dashboard you want to schedule.
You can't schedule dashboards if they are:
- Filtered dashboards
- Dynamic dashboards
- Click the Refresh arrow and select Schedule Refresh.
The Schedule Dashboard Refresh screen appears.
- Specify to whom you want to send the Email Dashboard.
- Specify when you want to send the dashboard in the Dashboard Schedule.
Finally, you need to specify what time the dashboard is sent.
- Click Find available options by Preferred Start Time.
- Select a time.
- When you're all finished, click Save.
The Schedule Dashboard Refresh screen closes. This dashboard will automatically email to its recipients at the specified day and time.
Edit or Remove a Dashboard Schedule
You can easily change the dashboard schedule - or remove it all together.
- Click the Refresh arrow and select Schedule Refresh.
- Edit the schedule or click Unschedule Dashboard.
- Click OK.
The dashboard is removed from the schedule.
