How to Record a Zoom Meeting

If not everyone can attend an important meeting, you can record it so that anyone that missed it will still be able to watch it later.

Record a Meeting

1. Click the More button on the toolbar at the bottom of the meeting window.
2. Select Record on this computer.
   

   The meeting starts recording, and some recording controls will appear on the screen.

3. When finished, click Stop recording.


The recording stops, and will be compressed and saved once the meeting concludes.

4. Click End Meeting.
   
5. Click End Meeting for All.
   

The recording begins converting, and the folder the recording is saved in is revealed. Here, you can copy the video and send it to anyone that missed the meeting.

View Recorded Meetings

You can view all of the meetings you’ve recorded from within the Zoom app.

1. Click the Meetings tab on the Zoom app screen.
2. Click the Recorded tab at the top of the left pane.
   

All of the meeting recordings you've made on this computer are shown. Here, you can open the recording to see it in the file explorer, play it, or delete it if you no longer need it.
